AWAKEN KIDS
At Awaken Kids, our mission is to nurture and inspire the faith of young hearts through engaging and age-appropriate teachings, foster a loving and supportive community, and encourage each child to grow in their relationship with God. We are committed to creating a joyful and safe environment where children can explore their faith, develop a strong moral foundation, and experience the love of Christ in meaningful ways.
SUNDAY MORNING:
We want kids of ALL AGES to grow in their LOVE for the LORD and for CHURCH! When they wake up Sunday morning, they are excited because they know it’s the day they will be together with their church family to worship our amazing God!
Awaken Kids check-in opens at 9:40 am for Babies to 5th grade. Babies and toddlers (through 3 years old) will go straight to their classrooms after check-in to begin their morning of worship, and 4-year-olds - 5th-graders will join parents in the main gathering for a time of worship through singing and prayer. During the meet and greet, they will exit just before the sermon to their class, where they will begin creating a solid foundation in their understanding of the gospel through engaging, relevant, and biblical curriculum.
For the safety of our families and kids, our volunteers are interviewed and screened with background checks. We are committed to making sure our AwakenKids know they are loved and well cared for. We offer clean, safe, and age-appropriate environments.
RESOURCING YOU FOR HOME DISCIPLESHIP:
God calls the family to play a vital role in the discipling of their children. How this is accomplished varies from family to family and is unique in each home. Family discipleship isn't one-size-fits-all, and it isn't easy! Even the most intentional parents may find themselves at a loss as to how to begin and sustain a discipleship process within the home. Awaken wants to come alongside parents to help them craft their own approach to family discipleship. Though each family is unique, we believe vibrant family discipleship doesn't have to be something to be intimidated by or afraid of.
